Big night tonight for New Hope Homes

We are beyond grateful to the people of Christ Community Church in Leawood, Kansas for hosting a benefit concert in an attempt to raise enough money to help us build our 4th home in Rwanda. The gifted Sara Groves will be our featured musician. I have loved Sara's music for years and simply trying to comprehend the power of her faith, love and voice leading us through the evening. May the spirit move the 700 people in attendance to give as fully as they can so we are able to create a HOME for another 10 kids. Watch the video to hear Sara sing a most powerful song about a visit to Rwanda. The words so perfectly reflect my story of Rwanda too

I saw what I saw and I can't forget it I heard what I heard and I can't go back I know what I know and I can't deny it

Something on the road Cut me to the soul

Your pain has changed me Your dream inspires Your face a memory Your hope a fire Your courage asks me what I'm afraid of And what I know of love

We've done what we've done and we can't erase it We are what we are and it's more than enough We have what we have but it's no substitution

Your pain has changed me Your dream inspires Your face a memory Your hope a fire Your courage asks me what I'm made of And what I know of love

Something on the road Cut me to the soul

I say what I say with no hesitation I have what I have and I'm giving it up I do what I do with deep conviction Something on the road, cut me to the soul

Your pain has changed me Ooohhh... Your dreams inspire Ooohhh... Your face a memory Ooohhh... Your hope a fire Ooohhh...

Your pain has changed me Your dream inspires Your face a memory Your hope a fire Your courage asks me what I am afraid of Your courage asks me what I am made of Your courage asks me what I am afraid of And what I know of God, And what I know of God.

Please say a prayer that the spirit will move those in attendance to meet the needs.

With a most grateful heart, Donna

PS. So happy that Sarah Wehrenberg and Abby Cullen drove 7 hours from Mpls to with us too!
